There is a well-known saying that it takes a whole village to raise a child, but perhaps it is even more true to say that it takes a whole village to care for our older people.
How can we better address age-related health problems such as Dementia and Arthritis?
How can we make quality aged care services more affordable, accessible and flexible?
How can we attract and retain qualified and committed aged care workers?
The Australian Futures Project (the organisation behind My Big Idea) conducted a National Values Assessment to find out the ten topics Australians care most about and then identified three specific challenges under each topic. These 30 challenges represent the true concerns of Australians, and your ideas are needed to resolve them.
The winners and incubating partners are busy bringing the winning ideas to life.
